The MC6650p is a fast flat bed machine, stitching up to 1000 stitches per minute.  The workspace has a 10'' throat which provide plenty of room for those larger item.  The LED lights are situated in 3 different areas which illuminates the workspace allowing you to sew day or night.  You can sew with any size thread cone with the built in thread stand at the back of the machine.  This allows better thread travel with tricky thread such as Metallic. 
The machine weighs 11kg still making it portable but has the grounding not to move around at high speeds.
