The sapphire 930 has a lot to offer at an affordable price.  Some of the the key features of this machine are the exclusive sensor system-automatically adjusting foot pressure depending on thickness sewn for the best feeding of fabric.  Within this feature you can also select the machine to stop with the needle down and have to foot raise to hover about the thickness of the fabric.  This allows you to freely turn and with the touch of the pedal lowering the foot and continue sewing without losing your position.
The machine also have the exclusive sewing advisor.  Set the type of fabric and sewing technique and the machine will change the settings of the width/length, select the stitch, change thread tension and tell you what foot to use.
The machine also has electronic tension.  The machine will change the top tension depending on which stitch has been selected.  This can still be manually overwritten.
