Transparent sole allows you to see through the foot while joining two fabrics together or topstitching.  Metal guide in the center of the foot helps butt two fabrics together while stitching or can be used to guide and edge for topstitching.  The sole has a channel underneath which allows decorative stitches to feed through the foot.
