This foot is suitable for both front loading machines and top loading machines with a maximum width of 5mm.
This foot can be used a few different ways.  The primary use is to help guide fabric while sewing a blindhem.  There is a special way to fold the fabric and the fold is what sits again the guide.  Other uses can be topstitching and joining two pieces fabric together.
